On September 16, the Mogilev Regional Court began a closed trial of 19-year-old Danil Garasim, who is accused of high treason.
The trial will be closed, and judge Igor Zemtsov will conduct the proceedings. Danylo Garasym is charged with three criminal articles:
▪️part 1, Article 361-3 of the Criminal Code (Participation in the territory of a foreign state in an armed formation or armed conflict, military operations, recruitment or training of persons for such participation);
▪️part 1 Art. 356 CC (Treason against the state);
▪️part 2 Article 295 of the Criminal Code (Illegal actions with firearms, ammunition and explosives).
He faces up to 15 years in prison.
In April 2024, Danylo Garasym became one of the main characters in an “investigative film” prepared by the Belarusian state television channel ONT.
The guy allegedly carried out tasks from the Ukrainian special services, including photographing missile and artillery facilities in Osipovichi and trying to transfer sabotage tools to members of the "Supratsiu" organization.
