A former fighter of the Kalinovsky regiment died in Ukraine

Recently, it became known about the death of the former fighter of the regiment named after Kastus Kalinowski Przemyslaw "Kordian" Rasevich.

He came to Ukraine from Poland to fight against the Russian invaders. Przemyslau began his service in Ukraine in the Belarusian volunteer regiment of Kalinowski, where he, having Belarusian roots, signed up of his own free will. After his release from the regiment, he became a volunteer, helped the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and soon joined the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Przemysław Rasewicz was born in Poland and had Polish citizenship, but he remembered his Belarusian roots and felt himself to be an ethnic Belarusian, so at the age of 21 he changed his former surname Kuczynski to the Belarusian surname of his ancestors, saying that he wanted to "die under it."
