During their meetings with European partners, the leader of the Democratic Forces, Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya, and the Deputy Head of the United Transitional Cabinet, Pavel Latushko, urged them not to recognize the results of the upcoming presidential elections in Belarus, as there are no conditions for their free holding.
Members of the European Parliament and OSCE representatives were informed about the repressions in Belarus, in particular against former presidential candidates who are in prison. Pavlo Latushko also reminded about the liquidation of all 11 opposition political parties, independent media and more than 1700 civil society organizations.
“Institutions of democratic forces are striving to develop a common position in order to put maximum pressure on lukashenko's regime, as well as to make the usurper understand that the absolute majority of society is against him, and the events of 2020 are not accidental,” Latushko emphasized.
