Kabanchuk explained why the Kalinovsky regiment do not enter Belarus

RDK (Russian Volunteer Corps) sometimes conducted operations near Russia. The Belarusian military does not intend to carry out such raids on the territory of Belarus - the former deputy commander of the Kalinovsky regiment, and now the "minister of defense" in the United Transitional Cabinet of Ministers, Vadim Kabanchuk, explained why in an interview with "Lightning". He believes that as long as the Belarusian army does not participate in the war against Ukraine, the forces of the people of Kalinin should be directed against the occupier who is fighting.

"I just don't understand what the purpose of these raids can be. Because the raid of Russian volunteers is understandable - to divert forces from other areas of the front.

Then there were also the so-called elections of Putin in Russia, maybe that was the reason," Kabanchuk thinks.

He adds: conscript soldiers at the border are young people, some of whom could have been participants in the 2020 protests.

"It's the worst case scenario that somewhere someone will come and start killing each other. In this way, we will not reach Lukashenka. Therefore, to a certain extent, at the moment, I would even be against such actions, because they can be considered provocative."

Kabanchuk believes that the situation in Belarus will be resolved differently. He draws a parallel with the Second World War, when after the capture of Berlin, a number of countries were deoccupied without combat, and explains that now the biggest problem for Belarus is Putin's regime.
