One step forward and two steps back

This is how Lukashenka's regime behaves in dealings with the civilized world. Peace declarations, minimal amnesty for political prisoners, introduction of a visa-free regime for 35 European countries, calls to live in harmony and trade. And suddenly - a German citizen is sentenced to death for "terrorism". According to available information, "terrorism" consists in interaction with foreign special services and Belarusian special services.

There may be several variants of such behavior. Perhaps the old Lukashenko resented the West, which did not rush to reconcile in response to his curtseys, but introduced an embargo on the export of Belarusian furniture and restrictions on the entry of Belarusian cars. And a captured German citizen will be the object of a grandiose blackmail. Illegal decided to try the experience of North Korean and Russian partners.

Perhaps such a step shows the complete inconsistency of the "towers" of the Lukashians. The newly appointed head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ryzhankov is making every effort to fulfill the tasks and at least partially lift the sanctions. At this time, hebists are trying to show their work to "expose" enemies, spies and conspiracies.

In any case, it is doubtful that the Lukashians would dare to execute a German citizen. If they dare, the previous sanctions will turn out to be children's chatter and the West will finally trample the Belarusian economy.
