What distinguishes Kyiv from Minsk is the absence of provocations

This is how the press secretary of the State Border Service of Ukraine (SPSU) Andriy Demchenko responded to the accusations of the Belarusian regime.

We remind you that the day before, on June 20, the State Border Committee (SBC) of Belarus announced a provocation in the form of an increase in forces on the Belarusian-Ukrainian border. He noted "increasing the grouping of the Ukrainian armed forces, including the forces of special operations and special units of the Main Directorate of Intelligence."

In response, the State Border Service of Ukraine considered Belarus' statement on the increase of the Ukrainian military contingent at the border in the Zhytomyr region as an attempt to shift the responsibility for the tension to Kyiv: "This is not the first time that Belarus has tried to shift the responsibility to Ukraine that we keep our troops and assets on the border with this country, " said the speaker.

"It's good that they understand that we have the strength, means and opportunities to strengthen, including this direction. Despite the fact that they declare that they will counter all provocations on the border, let us recall the main provocation that Belarus committed on February 24, 2022, when it actually opened the borders for Russian troops, who also entered the territory of our state from the territory of this country, Andriy Demchenko said on the air of the All-Ukrainian telemarathon.
